Timed to coincide with a forthcoming, 2 venue Fra Angelico exhibition in Florence with loans from the Louvre, Gemäldegalerie, NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and others and inspired by the National Gallery, London's spring exhibition: Siena: The Rise of Painting 1300-1350, this tour is an opportunity to visit these two cities to immerse yourself in the medieval and Early Renaissance world of Florence and Siena and also to visit Montalcino and Montepulciano - stunning in themselves and also great for wine!
We will be spending a day in Florence, a day in Siena, and a half day in each Montalcino and Montepulciano so we won't be visiting the Uffizi for instance.

Base yourself in Florence or Siena or move between them. Order of visits tbc. but likely days 2 and 3 base yourself in Siena. Fly direct to Florence or to Pisa.
We will travel between Siena and Montalcino and Montepulciano by minivan.
